Someone contacted me that there is a domain available. I have had this experience a couple of times. I thought who buy it? for what? I did not know the usage at that time. So, I did not buy it.
I also had a question. I developed a landing page for design subscription. Should I separate a portfolio and a landing page? Should I buy a domain for a landing page? This is still MVP. I don’t know whether it needs demand or not. I searched for a solution, “can i buy a domain to redirect to another website?”. I found information. It calls Domain Forwarding.

I get an idea, but does a domain name really show up on Google without content? Showing it on a business card or social media platform is understandable, but I don’t feel it influences organic search.

He mentions that you have to use DNS on Namecheap. My understanding is that once purchase a domain on Namecheap for domain forwarding, you cannot transfer a domain or change DNS(like Google Public DNS).

Conclusion: Need an experiment
At first, I thought this is a good idea, but I do not actually know what will happen. According to the SEO partner, Domain forwarding is a process that allows you to direct visitors going to your site to a different location on the internet. From an SEO perspective, it does not harm if it is implemented correctly.
Hmm, I hoped that domain forwarding enhances an organic search, but it sounds not.
