Story: Coexistence of human and AI

In December 2022, ChatGTP is released. Many YouTuber shows a demo of how ChatGTP works. Nowadays, when I watch the video on YouTube, people often talk about artificial intelligence(AI). Everyone knows the word, AI, but actually, we don’t know what it is. Where does AI come from? How does AI create? How does AI work?

YouTube recommends the educational program, The Age of AI. It is very documentary. Therefore, I searched for AI to learn about the recent movement of AI. In addition, I mention some websites/services which installed AI technology.

These usages are known to people. For example, a few weeks ago, there was an earthquake in the San Fransisco area. The residence got a notification 10 seconds before the earthquake hit. I don’t think people could take action. It was an unusual event and only 10 seconds. We have to change our minds and prepare for unexpected events.

Technology is often developed and utilized for war. Then, secondly, it is used for people. To thinking a business model, thinking about how to solve battleground issues, it may become a business.

I don’t know about avatar, but co-existing and solving disability issues are great. These series are released on YouTube 3 years ago, in 2019 or 2020.

– The bot will send you 4 images in 60 seconds

I noticed Midjourney on LinkedIn. Many people try Midjourney and post it. It looks like art. Portrait, nature, and object, etc. Looks great, but I could not figure out how it works on an actual client’s project. When I work with an advertising agency, creative director sent me some images generated by Midjourney. I did not use them, because these images were not aligned with the brand direction. I don’t know which problem is, the user or Midjourney.

Midjourney is still mid journey, but it will be better and better. As a business, I assume that it will be a subscription model for exporting a high resolution.

ChatGPT by OpenAI

You can find many references, but try ChatGPT yourself. People mention ChatGPT may be better than Google Search. I don’t know where the data source of ChatGTP comes from. I assume it is Google. Complicated…, but Google Search influences our local business a lot. We cannot ignore the progress of ChatGPT.

Jasper AI

AI writing for a blog. I can imagine the demand. In reality, Jasper announces a $125M series A funding round, 1.5M evaluation=excahnge 12% share.

In 2022, all SaaS companies’ stocks plunged. A lot of companies laid off employees. Under this circumstance, a 1.5M evaluation sounds quite high. AI and Metaverse/Web 3 are growing. Digital currency is not sure, but blockchain tech is also quite promising.

Conclusion: How to react

Whatever I feel, A.I. will be better and better. People are afraid of job replacement, but it is inevitable. Web designer, graphic designer, or even programmer who is developing A.I. are not safe. What we can do is to learning. We don’t have to memorize, more practicum skills.

In the holiday season of 2022, let’s think about what you are good at, and what you like to do.
