Story: Pursue the dream

One of my favorite movies is ‘Star Wars’. Star Wars is an American epic space opera franchise, created by George Lucas and centered around a film series that began with the eponymous. The saga quickly became a worldwide pop culture phenomenon. George Lucas created the first episode, actually episode 4, in 1977. Then, George released the episode interesting sequence, 5, 6, 1, 2 and 3.

I don’t impress a battle scene or computer graphics so much. Poster and the typography of title are great. I like it. Most impressive I feel is the relation of each story. How did he come up with the idea, release episode 4 first? It was a great invention in the movie industry. This is the movie, but it can’t say fiction anymore. It may be real in 2xxx. Human will reach space during this century.

I often hear Blue Origin, SpaceX, in the daily news. Blue Origin established by Jeff Bezos who is the founder of Amazon. SpaceX established by Ian Mask who is the founder of Tesla Motors. They are successful and historical CEO. A lot of people inspired their vision. They are teaching us, what is the purpose of our life? what do we live for?

Space: The Next Trillion Dollar Industry

@Wendover Productions

This is a comprehensive great video. Space rocket is easy for the news. Very frontline. However, I haven’t realized the other aspect, satellite existence.

How does satellite work for our society? Communication (broadband, cell phone), earth observation (global warming), GPS (global positioning system), science development etc. It’s tremendously huge.

The video mentions the commercial satellite business. Types of satellites. How does the company make money? Who is the client?

A few visionaries make life different. Life is short. We should think big, dream big.

Millions of People Living and Working in Space

Blue Origin believes in a future where millions of people are living and working in space. Why? Because we believe that in order to preserve Earth, our home, for our grandchildren’s grandchildren, we must go to space to tap its unlimited resources and energy. If we can lower the cost of access to space with reusable launch vehicles, we can enable this dynamic future for humanity.

It’s a hopeful vision.

Blue Origin is committed to building a road to space so our children can build a future.

SpaceX

@Space X

SpaceX designs, manufactures and launches advanced rockets and spacecraft. The company was founded in 2002 to revolutionize space technology, with the ultimate goal of enabling people to live on other planets.

MAKING HISTORY

SpaceX has gained worldwide attention for a series of historic milestones. It is the only private company capable of returning a spacecraft from low Earth orbit, which it first accomplished in 2010. The company made history again in 2012 when its Dragon spacecraft became the first commercial spacecraft to deliver cargo to and from the International Space Station.

SpaceX successfully achieved the historic first flight of an orbital class rocket in 2017, and the company now regularly launches flight-proven rockets. In 2018, SpaceX began launching Falcon Heavy, the world’s most powerful operational rocket by a factor of two.

What’s Next For NASA?

NASA’s vision: We reach for new heights and reveal the unknown for the benefit of humankind.

Thousands of people have been working around the world — and off of it — for decades, trying to answer some basic questions. What’s out there? How do we get there? What will we find? What can we learn there, or learn just by trying to get there, that will make life better here on Earth?

Explore our history, see who we are and how we work, check the list of current missions, and find out what we’re launching next. Here’s a look at some of the big things coming up.

What will happen?

Blue Origin and Space X are clearly stating their mission. Humankind will live on the other planet in the future. They are preparing for it even it will happen 3 or 4 generations later. It is a clue of business opportunities in the space. These companies provide transportation for us. What will happen next?

At first, space tourism will start. We may not be able to randing on the other planet, but we can enjoy the scenery from the rocket.

Construction will start at the same time. The company will develop a space station or space hotel. 3D printing and robot work on this project. Human will operate them on the earth. Once accommodation is completed, a human can stay in the space for a while. A robot helps a guest’s life. A doctor will be there, but we may have to take a medical check before travel. We may have to contract with space travel insurance. It may cost over a million?

Expect to expand industry: Tourism / Construction / Mining / Robot / Space lawyer? / Healthcare / Real States / Insurance / Space Food?

A robot can charge a battery by themselves. In space, solar energy is infinity. A robot industry will be bright in the future.. Next, people start living there. Real states acquire the other planet. They develop a house on it and sell it. Energy will cover in the space. However, human needs water. Which country will manage it? There is no border. We need a space law.

Recap: What did I learn?

When I watch the scene of a rocket launch on YouTube, these companies taught me what is important in our life. The crews are really excited in their job. I’m doing what I want to do. However, do I really excited about it? Big dream, achievement, contribution, whatever I have to be excited in my life.

1. Space is not a dream.
2. Human will live in space.
3. We should be excited about our work. ✔️✔️✔️

NASA and SpaceX fly Astronauts to the Space Station

@NASA

On May 31st, NASA & SpaceX launched a space rocket successfully. You can find the official video on YouTube.

The process was very interesting. Astronaut prepares in the building. Then, they moved to the rocket by Tesla. I could see how the launch area looks like, how many people work around there. Space wear was quite different compare to my image. It looks very thin and easy to move.

I won’t be able to space in my life, but I am curious about the experience of no gravity. I searched for it, but it has not existed yet. There is a similar experience service by a flight, around $5000. I am weak at airplanes. So, it doesn’t work.
