Story: What is NFT?
On November 18, 2021, I often see the word, NFT, on Upwork. I have no idea about the project, but I can see that it’s a trend.
NFT = Non-fungible token is a unique and non-interchangeable unit of data stored on a digital ledger. NFTs can be associated with easily-reproducible items such as photos, videos, audio, and other types of digital files as unique items, and use blockchain technology to give the NFT a public proof of ownership. – Wikipedia
When we noticed some trends, these projects have started a few years before. Creators were developed it a few years. Then, distribution has started. Therefore, we can see/hear it in daily life.
I am not an early adaptor. So, I don’t think I can join the trend at the frontline.

Many artists are struggling to survive in history. A consumer decides the value of the art and NFT becomes this platform, it’s good for artist.

Media focuses on the price, but I am interested in the platform. A consumer decides a value, not an authority or an artist. It’s decentralized. The copyright is managed by blockchain, it’s reasonable.
Conclusion: Platform rather than art
I am sadly not an artist. I saw someone asks about creating digital art on Upwork. That’s a ridiculous idea, I think.
Anyway, I don’t have a plan to sell NFT. As a web/graphic designer, I am curious about a platform that uses buyers and sellers. It displays the trend and tendencies of websites. I will just enjoy it.
