Story: Spam mail collection
As a freelance, I have to public a piece of contact information. For that, I am not inevitable to receive unnecessary emails. It often receives at a spam mailbox. Sometimes, I receive it in an inbox. I have to distinguish whether truth or fake. I gathered smart spam emails which I received.
I hope I can decrease a victim for it.
Ads issue
This is very tricky. People who use ads on social media, everyone can be targeted.
Buy social media follower
I don’t mind whether people buy social media followers or not. I am an ordinary person and just do not buy it.
Phishing (Hosting-related)
At first, check the sender. Secondly, scan the message. Thirdly, send it spam box and delete it.
I was not sure real or fake, at first. In the sentence, I read “as soon as possible”. I doubt it. I contacted Bluehost and it was spam.
When you receive an uncertain Email, please check a sender email address. If an email said ASAP, you should contact the third party.
This is quite evil email. I was not sure real or fake. I contacted Bluehost and it was fake. Anyway, I did not click anything.
One of the issues is that the whole email links somewhere, not text links. It is very possible people click the email. Spam mail often mentions the limited time. Be careful.
I received a couple of texts a few days ago. Now, I received an email. I have no plan to receive the parcel. Please be careful.
Text message
I received this text on April 21, 2021. I, of course, did not do anything.
Why do I receive benefits information by text? Suspicious.
No way I receive benefits information by text. Suspicious.
I don’t need free money. Please don’t interrupt my life.
Email storage
This Email came to my inbox. It looks not so obvious, but this is spam. I did set the email storage unlimited at the beginning. I cannot even read some emails. If the email mentions the urgency, it’s spam.
Email of delivery notice
I am not sure about this email. DHL should leave a notice if it’s real. I sent an email to DHL, but no response.
Sales email
This is a sales email, but it does not work. I delete this kind of email in 2 seconds. “Hi, There” equals spam. “Hi, Email” equals a robot.
These email pitches me, but no personalized. It’s obvious that they did not check a website any. Secondly, I check the email address, It was gmail and outlook. It shows they are not professional. Sales are not easy.
The email mention that this is not spamming in the very last, but “hi email” is spam for people.
At the first impression, it’s too long. Then, the email is deleted in 3 seconds.
I don’t receive anything for free, especially business-related matters. Guarantee ROI. I am willing to pay.
I understand the business, but is this fun to do?
From contact form on the website
I sometimes receive this kind of email. Why can these people send me the contact form in other languages? The website shows only English obviously.
I also receive some story/news emails. I don’t know the purpose of this email.
Robot.
Sales and 0 personalize. It does not work.
Sales email. Gmail tells me that you are not professional. The phone looks fake. Text looks to copy and paste. It does not work.
Hi, Sir equals spam. In addition, this email is too long.
Inappropriate text message
I did not click the link, but I searched. He is a real person. I could find but why did his marketing team send it to me?
IG
When I post the image on Instagram, the auto robot sends me the message. It says, “DM me”. No personalized message. It does not work.
Better email
I sometimes receive a guest blog offer. They want to backlink on the blog. I am writing a blog for learning. So, I don’t know how to deal with this offer.
This email mentions that s/he checked my website and wants to send a report for free. At startline, this sales mail is okay even though I won’t respond.
I don’t know how to say. I did not click or check the website. The company exists according to Google. Reviews are pros and cons.
