Process
01. Sitemap
When I start Ecommerce project, I make a sitemap and share it with the client to understand the scope of work. It also utilizes a negotiation of the project fee.
02. Research
Basically a client sends me some references. I analyze it and improve it for the project. You have to emulate it and beyond client expectations. Otherwise, you will be fired.
03. Moveboard
The client wants to see a visual design at the early stage of the project. In the design text, wireframe may earlier than move board, but creating a move board at an early-stage helps me to make a relationship with a client.
04. Wireframe
I create a wireframe for myself. In the wireframe process, I can organize clients briefing, create a structure and section, urge to understand what I need. I write a copy to fill each heading.
05. Prototype
In the prototype process, I clear how many pages I have to create. The number of pages often expands more than a sitemap. Ecommerce websites need many pages more than you think.
Circumstance in 2020
When I received the project offer, I felt it’s an inevitable natural flow. Under the COVID-19, many cities lockdown in The United States. Many companies execute to develop an omnichannel since February 2020.
Omnichannel is a cross-channel content strategy that organizations use to improve their user experience and drive better relationships with their audience across points of contact. Rather than working in parallel, communication channels and their supporting resources are designed and orchestrated to cooperate. – Wikipedia
Not only brick and motor, but also Ecommerce and social commerce. We have enough resources. I would like to encourage develop an Ecommerce website to all companies whatever the size is.
