Overview
Since 1994, Calsoft Systems has been a leading provider of custom-tailored ERP solutions for hundreds of clients, ranging from local businesses to some of the world’s most prestigious multinationals.
With offices throughout North America and Asia, our mission is to maximize our clients’ business performance by understanding their needs and applying our in-depth expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dynamics GP, Dynamics NAV and Dynamics AX solutions. Our integrated ERP solutions apply to industries ranging from distribution to manufacturing to logistics to travel.
Calsoft Systems expands business to Asia. I developed website for local market. I browsed the website, but I could not figure out the brand voice. The client told me that you don’t have to follow the website of headquarter. In addition, he asked me to propose my idea if I have any. It made me ignite.
Challenge
Situation
– Established a Japanese corporation office in 2019.
– Started business without a website.
Target
– Knowledgeable in-house system engineering manager.
– CEO or equivalent position as decision-maker.
Purpose
– To declare who we are, what we do.
– To gaining reliability (introduce services, comparison with competitors)
– To hiring people who want to be active internationally.
Goal
– Increasing online business opportunities.
– Impress potencial client as the global ERP provider.
– Disseminate what kind of company’s activities are being conducted.
UX
I researched client business, industry and competitor (Blog: What is ERP & CRM?). There are many hints on it. You can make a website with your imagination. However, we have to distinguish between standout, unique and reliable. If it’s too unique, you may sacrifice UI or connection with a potential audience. Familiality is also important. We have to focus on who the user is and what they need.
Just making a website is easy. As designer, we have to control the user’s impression, manage the tone and voice of the website. Furthermore, we have to contribute client business growth, increasing a profit.

Move Board
Through Keynote (Research, Brand Attribute, Persona, User Flow, Wireframe, User Interface, Move Board), I created some directions by Sketch. I submitted 3 in this case(at least 2). Generally speaking, 3 is best. Because the client decides the idea which they don’t want first. Then, the client asks to combine or brush up 2 of them.
Prototype
As I mentioned above, the client has started a business in Asia. Therefore, I would like to update the landing page as soon as possible. This website is created by Webflow. Because the client will blog for SEO. I wanted to remove any stress for an update. They are IT specialists. Once they get used to CMS, it will be easy for them.
Web Design
Result
It’s been a while since I have involved in the web development project. In June 2020, I delivered a full-content website.
It’s built by Webflow. I could install interactions, UI, and screen transitions. I used several keywords on the website. I suggested writing a blog for SEO. The site will install downloadable material for digital marketing in the future.
I am going to reach the target audience through Facebook Ad and increase traffic. I am pleased to contribute to Calsoft Japan.
