Story: Learning new software

Flux introduced me Spline a month ago. I bookmarked Spline, but I have not used it yet.

Spline is a design tool, for 3d. Easily create and publish 3D web experiences. Build and iterate fast with production-ready results.

There is not much information on the website. It shows just what is Spline. Use it? I don’t know why Spline does not charge. anyway, I decided to use Spline for making some social media materials in February. I decided the February is on a learning month.

The message makes me anxious. Spline may be going to start a subscription in the futuer.

An icon is also a good idea. Copy of famous icon will get a response on IG. I don’t worry about a theme for a while.

I Played Spline for a few days, but I found some errors.
– I typed A to Z separately, different fonts. I sometimes cannot re-type other alphabets.
– Then, I could not change the color.
– Keep selected the type even I do not.
– For the cylinder shape, I cannot change the number on the right menu.

I don’t see many articles about Spline in February 2021. One anxious is that Spline will start a subscription after people learned it. Spline on Prototyper.io mentions below. It’s a smart way that Spline provides a service to a small community.

Spline is currently in Preview Release, so try it out and send them some thoughts to help them shape the product.

I understand that during practice new software is not fun. How to enjoy it? I use social media, Dribble and Instagram. Some Instagrammers seriously tell us to give value to an audience. It makes ordinary people like me hesitant to share.

So, I don’t think about it too much. I don’t focus on increase followers right now. Dribble and Instagram are records of self-improvement. If someone likes it, it’s a bonus and let’s create a better one tomorrow.
