Story: Planning 2022

In December 2021, I am planning for 2022. I searched for a productive APP on YouTube. Many people use Notion. I know Notion. I have an account, but I do not use it efficiently since I have created an account(since 2019?). At the end of 2021, I try to use Notion once again to improve productivity.

I picked up the video from Flux. I don’t mind what tools Ran Segall uses. He is a quite productive designer(and educator right now). I would like to use Notion like he is planning his project and life.

Purpose:
– Manage the project (hopefully share with a client)
– Manage a schedule (what I do by when)
– Manage plan, execution, and measure goal (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly)
– Organize information in one place
– Use time efficiently

– CRM
– – Client’s list
– – 1. First contant
– – 2. Discovery session
– – 3. Estimate
– – 4. Proposal
– – – Client’s project
– – – 1. Overview
– – – 2. Milestone
– – – 3. Task, responsibility
– – – 4. Strategy, contents, design asset, development

Client’s list looks good. I created Asana and monday.com account, but I haven’t used them yet. The documentation is more valuable for me rather than the template.

1. Gather assets and information
2. Build a schedule
3. Open up a line of communication
4. Assign task and owner

Sharing a calendar is cool. Process card makes daily work fun. I need to do it in 2022.

Conclusion: How my Notion looks like

After I consumed the information above, I re-create a Notion page during December 2021. Making a second brain is a keyword for Notion users. I am making a dashboard, an all-in-one top page. I am still not sure whether I need to use Notion or not. I am using note(Mac APP) and iCal(Mac APP) for a project. It’s not organized, but it works. I will test Notion in 2022. I easily forget unimportant information(pros and cons). Therefore, I could not keep using Notion before.

I hope I can improve productivity with Notion in 2022.
