Story: Reading habit
Everyone is watching YouTube/TV and reading articles which we searched on Google every day, but not many people read a book. When I visit Japan, I spend a lot of time at Bookoff(a used book store) and a regular book store. I can stay 2-3 hours easily if Starbucks is in there. When I am in Canada, I don’t read a book a lot and it is not good behavior. I need to change it in 2022. I downloaded Kindle, Audible and Blinkist a week ago, but I have not been opened them yet. I researched which services are popular and how people are using them.

Kindle and Audible
– Learning type, visual learner or listening learner. I am a former.
– Easy to consume, but it’s different from learning.
– Audible, you cannot take note. Native people can do it, but I cannot.
– If I do learning mode, I need to concentrate. Kindle does not sound bad.
– $15/mo for Audible. It may push me for reading.
– Kindle Unlimited subscription costs $9.99/mo.

Not only Nick, I can find many good reviews for Kindle users. If Kindle reads a book, that’s a no-brainer to choose.
Goodreads

I don’t mention her review here. Just I felt much her passion for books. I cannot simply apply her review to my situation.
Conclusion: Kindle or Audible
I thought the Kindle device was dead by iPad. I checked Kindle on YouTube. I see many good reviews for it. People actually appreciate the Kindle to help develop a reading habit. I was thinking to try the book summary service, but Blinkist does not have a good impression on me. I don’t know I can learn something by audio. So, should I buy Kindle rather than an iPad?

I subscribed Audible. I hope I can develop a reading(listening?) habit.
