Story: The role model of SEO practice
I was learning SEO during the holiday and completed it, proof at LinkedIn. I bought the SEO course on Udemy on Black Friday 2020, a year ago. I still have a pile of courses in my account.
The instructor was a founder of an SEO company in the UK. Their website shows up on the 1st page on Google when the user searches their target keywords(obvious?). A digital marketing company is quite a good example of a good website, title, meta description, copywriting, content, flow, installed software, etc.
I collect digital marketing agency websites which caught my attention.

I am checking a website from a user viewpoint. The website is very persuasive. The website itself does not have many interactions, but that’s no big deal.

– Loading video takes time, work is great.
– Who we are. The number, 950 people in 15 offices, segregates a small budgets client.
– People work with people. Business is a human relationship.

I heard the company name from Jose Caballer who is the previous co-host at The Futur. I like boldness. About page has rich content. The homepage can be layout contents more.

It looks new type of marketing service. Therefore, not easy to persuade a target audience. A consistent brand and a good website are the keys. Good job.

A nice brand and good contents structure. In 2022, we can see in the TikTok trend. I saw often see viral TikTok videos on CBC. A video these days may be essential. Because video drives better engagement with the audience. As a result, good for a client.
Human chases a moving object. It’s inevitable human behavior. I just would like to know the ROI or ROAS. I don’t feel a client needs to pursue high-quality for each video.
I might here Thrive Digital when I attended Creative Mornings a long time ago. I just searched, “digital marketing agency”, and Thrive Digital was 2nd page on Google. I checked other agencies on Google 1st page and it was not persuasive by design. So, I picked up Thrive Digital as a local company.
Conclusion: Work with a digital marketing agency as subcontractor
On YouTube, many YouTubers talk about how to make money. For instance, become a YouTuber, become an instructor, sell a course, sell digital assets, affiliate program or investment, etc. As an ordinary web/graphic designer, many of them are not practicum, not focused on primary skills.
I checked the great websites of digital marketing agencies. All website is good, no problem as long as a target audience can find them. I am going to send an email to some local agencies which provide digital marketing services. I expect that I won’t get many responses from them. I expect even 0. That’s okay. Give a shot in 2022 to develop mulch sales funnels.
*I got a response from a local brand agency. I made a home page design by Figma as a test last week. They somehow accepted it and I will collaborate with them from April 2022.
