Story: Practice Webflow daily
During COVID-19 and the holiday season, I would like to keep learning. When I look at the Upwork or job posting, I could find some trend/demand below.
– After Effects(or Premiere Pro)
– E-commerce(Shopify)
– Social Media(IG/YouTube cover)
– Webflow(sometimes)
– Landing page for APP
*Digital Marketing(everyone need)
Black Friday has come. I am thinking to buy AE. I also may buy WordPress Theme. I will check Udemy.com. I don’t know Webflow has some promotion or not.
I renewed Webflow this summer. I don’t have a chance to use it every day, but I don’t want to waste my money. I should practice it. I found people keep an effort as a daily challenge. I follow them.
What is Webflow?
🌎 Webflow: The Web Development Platform Of The Future
Webflow is created for a designer who is not good at programming. Once you master Webflow, you can develop an interactive website yourself.
Preparing Daily Challenge
Even you have a only free account, you can practice Webflow. For using Webflow daily, I set some rules below.
Rules:
– 30 to 1 hour
– Use only 1 Webflow file
– Don’t have to create from scratch, check Pinterest, dribbble or Behance
– Hero section
– Make rules of naming, ID, CSS
Example:
dc-1__block__elements
*dc = daily challenge
I would like to try the BEM methods.
I used some llustrations below. I did not use them as a commercial.

@DrawKit: Beautiful, free illustrations. Updated weekly.
Conclusion: Preparation for the future
Now I don’t have anxiety about the next Webflow project. Whatever a client requires me, I will be able to figure it out.
I cannot reach to Awwwards level. My aimed position is a 7.5/10 visual website with SEO-friendly/sales funnels. Generate new leads, the function is the best value for a majority of the client.
