Story: WordPress 2020

I have started to use WordPress in 2016. I didn’t like WordPress at the beginning. I thought that Bootstrap is more flexible and I can apply what I want.

4 years past since then, the top seller theme offers the visual page builder. I can develop the website intuitively.

I received the project offer and it requires developing the website by Elementor & it’s eCommerce. I’ve never used Elementor even though Elementor has a great visual page builder. So, I have no worry about it.

Elementor – eCommerce

Developing the website by Elementor is not difficult. The eCommerce website is a little different. I used the eCommerce theme, Flatsome, before. I could not change some elements & functions and it was an issue during the project. I can compare Elementor and Flatsome. This is a good opportunity.

Conclusion: It’s ongoing

I submitted a website mockup to the client last week. Fortunately, the client accepted it and the project moves forward to the next step. I have to watch all of the videos by the end of August. I will develop the eCommerce in early September.

I like this situation. I can improve my skills through the project. Of course, it requires full-responsibility.

Freelance work is not as same as the 9-5 job. Therefore, if you prioritize the lifework balance, please get a stable job.
