Story: Decision based on the data
When I work with a client, at first I listen. Secondly, I tell my opinion in general if they ask. Thirdly, I show data. I basically use Google Search Console and Google Analytics. A digital marketer knows that these are okay, but not the best. I know 2 tools Ahrefs and SEMrush.
Semrush is a SaaS platform. It is often used for keyword research and online ranking data, including metrics such as search volume and cost per click. The platform also collects information about online keywords gathered from Google and Bing search engines. – Wikipedia
I have an opportunity to help SEO at a local company. I got 7 days trial at SEMrush. I used it 2 years ago as a trial, but anyway I could get a trial again. This is a record for 5 days.
*It’s 7 days trial, but I don’t want to use it for 7 days. Using it intensely and canceling early is safe. I am okay to pay per day, but no choice right now.

In my image, ahrefs equals him, Sam Oh. In other words, YouTube speaker makes an ahrefs brand. I don’t feel Sam Oh and ahrefs websites are different tone though no big deal. For the business, his gravitas is trustworthy. Many profitable companies use the people who can speak about their service on YouTbue. It’s as same as a TV show people. No need to very look good on YouTube. YouTubers are very valuable in 2022.

If I did not misunderstand, I saw $00(I forgot the price)/a few days for a long time ago. It was not free or trial.

How can I cancel my plan?
Cancel your account anytime from your Account Settings. After canceling, you’ll still be able to use your plan until the end of the subscription period.
I don’t have paid account. So, I cannot find where the cancel button is.
Conclusion: SEO as a web designer
A web designer must understand SEO to maximize the website value. After all, it is all for a client. Of course, we can collaborate with an SEO specialist. If you don’t know anything, it is difficult to discuss the project, manage the process and measure their performance.
I am not sure I have to subscribe ahrefs though. Ahrefs (or SEMrush) is higher than Adobe CC. If I constantly work with $10K+ client, I do use ahrefs/SEMrush. Just, it is not right now.
