Before the COVID, I attended the digital marketing meetup at the local company. It was not popular, 3-4 attendants. The organizer asked me about one website I developed and they analyzed it in front of me. They mentioned Google Search Console. I was installed Google Analytics, but I have never heard about Google Search Console. They also told some digital marketing tools, Ahrefs, SEMruch, Hotjar. These were also unfamiliar for me.
The time flies, I did not learn deeply about each service. However, I cannot ignore Google search for SEO reason. I would like to(have to) maximize the value of web design. So, I learn about Google Search Console in this blog.

It sounds quite important. I don’t feel many web designers really know about Google Search Console. When I have a chance to meet them at a meetup event, I will ask them.

URL prefix is simpler than domain. Download the google1234xxxxx.html and uploaded it on file manager > public_html. It’s verified quickly. When I choose a domain, it asks me to change the DNS record on the domain provider. I don’t remember, but I changed it for some reason before. So, I don’t want to touch about it.

Adding a client domain property requires to ID/PW of the domain registry. It may differ from a hosting company. Therefore, URL is easier than a domain for web designers. Because we know the hosting company. We can upload HTML files quickly.

Conclusion: Everyone says differently
When I learn something generally, I search on YouTube and I can find a tutorial. You may think why do you upload similar(sometimes same tips) videos on the blog? I don’t have criteria for new topics. The core is similar, but everyone teaches a different way even a tutorial, 101. This may be a similar situation in the school. The subject is the same, but it depends on the teacher whether we can easily understand or not.
Now I know that Google Search Console is fundamental for a web designer.
