Story: After launch the website
When I looked at the Google Search Console, I felt something weird that I don’t see the posts which I created for SEO purposes. I submitted the sitemap when I developed the websites. It was a success. Looks like Google recognizes it. I investigated it.
Google search console > coverage > excluded…
Google search console > sitemap > /posts-sitemap.xml > see index coverage > excluded…
I found some pages are excluded. Excluded means Google does not show the page when a user searches the keyword. This is really a disaster. The mystery is that when I live test, most pages are a success. Why does it happen? I searched for the reason and solution.
*When you check your site, you may face the same issues, but we don’t have to index all the pages. It is actually included unnecessarily pages. Please check URLs.
What is Google Index?
According to Google help, there are some checklists.
Step 1: Verify that your page or site is missing
I did submit the sitemap.xml when I develop every website.
Step 2: Fix the problem
I found the reference pages on Google help. You can find web designers on Google. However, I do not think all web designer knows these details. If you are a client, please be cautious. This is a really essential subject.

Conclusion: After the public
I thought when I publicize the website/posts, people can find it soon or later. However, if Google did not index it, no one can find it. This is shocking… If you are managing a lot of websites, you may find the excluded pages. Need to work.
1. Connect to Google Search Console
2. Check coverage
3. Make 0 for excluded page, or make excluded page intentionally
We don’t have to index all pages, but I feel not good when I see the excluded pages. We can send a request through Google Search Console, but it has a limited par day. If you realize it now, let’s get done as soon as possible. Even if sending a request, it takes time. This is really shocking to me…
