PayPal, Square, Strip, there are many fintech software. These make an online transaction easier. I wrote the blog last month, The Best Ways to Send Money Abroad, Canada to India/China. TransferWize, WorldRemit also makes a money transfer easier. I am working with clients and they are non-profit organizations. I have to install a donation plugin. I research it and send a report to the client.

GiveWP: How to Create a Donation Form in WordPress with GiveWP
I searched for Google and YouTube. GiveWP is one of the top WP plugins. Truth or not, GiveWP’s website says, THE BEST DONATION PLUGIN FOR WORDPRESS. When I don’t have many experiences, common is better. I don’t want to hassle with the unpopular plugin.

Charitable’s website says, The Top-Rated WordPress Donation Plugin. According to my research, GiveWP and Charitable are the top 2 popular plugins in WordPress. I intend to compare GiveWP and Charitable.

Many non-profit organizations in Canada use CanadaHelps for donations. I researched the plugins as you see in this blog, and the client continually uses CanadaHelps after all.
The naming is not so good. I feel it sounds like domestic services. When compared to other donation plugins, I may not choose CanadaHelps if I live in other countries.

I watched the video and it looks quite straight forward. Donerbox’s user interface looks okay for a non-profit organization. Donerbox could be an alternative.

I don’t like a default interface. I can write CSS, but I don’t have a reason to choose Seamless Donations right at the point.
Paypal Donation

Major payment service, PayPal. There is no surprise that Paypay can provide a donation function. UI looks not so good thought.

If you learned Ecommerce website, Stripe is one of the top payment gateways. I don’t mind a very simple user interface. Stripe or other donation plugins, the choice will depend on a client’s situation. In this case, my client is a non-profit organization. They don’t have a Paypal or Stripe account. They may choose WP plugins.

When I watch YouTube, sometimes the host mentions Venmo. I am still learning how it works. I feel Venmo is more personal usage.
Conclusion: Reliable and simplify
The client told me to make the donation process simplify. This situation tests me about UX thinking. I will provide a solution through the project.
