Story: 3D user interface
In 2020, I often see a 3D UI(user interface) on the mobile APP and website. I don’t intend to see 3D, but 3D is everywhere. Actually, 3D may give us a good impression, feel like a trend, recent, new etc.
At Dribble, Pinterest or Behance, I can see that 3D illustration is popular these days. I want to implement it on my website or client work, but I’ve never tried to do it yet. I don’t know I can find consistent resources or I can afford a 3D UI designer.
It is not an emergency situation, but I researched for 3D UI.

Looks nice, but I don’t feel I can use free resources for a client project. I don’t think free resources will cover what I need for the project. It’s better to purchase a bulk of 3D assets or work with a 3D UI designer.

Flux introduced Spline. I could find the videos on YouTube. Early adaptors already use it and they said it’s free. Why? I don’t understand it. It looks like great software, but I cannot find pricing on the website. I will test Spline in February.

Conclusion: 2D and 3D
I feel 3D illustration is popular, but 2D flat illustration is still useful. If I could not find useful resources on Google, I will try to hire someone on Upwork.
